Should you have a problem picking out a color for one, my vote goes towards light pink! You really make some gorgeous hats, I love how they all seem so different from one another!DarlingAlanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14658432243272681159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7091122574923976878.post-13760169363647268612008-11-04T19:25:00.000-05:002008-11-04T19:25:00.000-05:00Hi TerriThanks for letting me know about your give...Hi Terri
Thanks for letting me know about your giveaway too. I would love to see an all black hat in a loose stitch shaped something like the aqua and teal one in your Nov. 4 post with one or two very, very small daisies on it (because my name is Daisy!) in traditional yellow center and white petal fashion. No brim and no ear flaps, just an easy to pull on hat. Such a fun idea for a contest. :DConniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03865193802444007545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7091122574923976878.post-34841215998408499842008-11-04T11:44:00.000-05:002008-11-04T11:44:00.000-05:00this is so interesting. susie pointed you out and ...this is so interesting. susie pointed you out and i find this fascinating. i love jewel tones, like purple, deep red, teal, brown or black and ivory mixed. have you heard of the snoods? it is cap but sits at the back of your head and very droopy, very cute! like a mix between a traditional cap and a beret. there is no brim though. see if that gets your creative juices flowing. thanks, can't wait to hear.
marmee @ thingsilove-marmeemarmeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622899170079254810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7091122574923976878.post-44131833539807337322008-11-03T22:36:00.000-05:002008-11-03T22:36:00.000-05:00Very creative giveaway Melissa! I'm not 100% sure! (I know I'm a BIG help!) :)

Maybe you could try glittering a real small one first-I'd make sure it was really dry before you applied the glue. I let her know what I have an idea from an from there, she alwasy delights!!
She has made me two hats I LOVED! One I still have and one my youngest son wore until it wore out! The first is called a "Dubblamuska"...I don't know if I speeled that right so I will put an pic on my sight later today. It is REALLY long so that you can rollit into a bis brim in order to keep your ears extra warm. She made it out of yarn she had left over so it is in greys, kinda a dark mauve and black....I would like to see it in lots of shimmery rainbow colors...WOW!
The hat by boy upsconded with was more like a Mongolian or maybe it was Andes mountain hat with ear coverings and she made it out of silk remnants she had of blues, reds, yellows...just gorgeous. Iwill try to fins a pic or two of them and post them later...gotta do chores and go to Doc for a cardio checkup....thanks for being a friend!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7091122574923976878.post-69407261042992343822008-11-03T10:10:00.000-05:002008-11-03T10:10:00.000-05:00Oh, I love this! My grandma crocheted a hat for me when I was young that had a little brim that turned back, and the yarn was feathery soft.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7091122574923976878.post-5598094335927331002008-11-03T10:09:00.000-05:002008-11-03T10:09:00.000-05:00I used to crochet all the time when I was younger ...I used to crochet all the time when I was younger now I haven't touched a hook in many years. I should look up a pattern for a hat and make us some with our left over yarn. It's just not doing any one any good sitting in the closet still in the wrapper. My favorite type of hat would be something in natural colors with tans, greens and what ever else goes with them. something with ear flaps and a tie for when it's really cold. My ears always freeze. I'd love to see some of your hats maybe you should make a collage of photos of them and post it on your blog.Lisa-Maladylishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11330685025975176201noreply@blogger.com
