Guess What?

Last night I used my new Dish Washer!!!

Yep, you heard it. With a few magic touches by Super Hubby I zipped right into the 21st century - I have running water (hot and cold) and an automatic dishwasher!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Photos on Monday - hopefully, you know how I am. Super Hubby did take my picture in my apron, next to the dishwasher - but I forgot to download them!

The house should be ready for our Certificate of Occupancy on Monday!
Let's all say a prayer for the house - pray that it passes!

Then start praying for a good appraisal!

I know I'm a task master!

Did I mention the Were-Rabbit might have frozen? At least he did if he stood around the garden waiting for it to grow. We planted in 75 degree weather and now we're back down to 30 degrees. Don't tell me you mumbled "I told you so under" your breath when you read my blog about planting the garden.....anyway the cold shouldn't affect the three items I planted - they like it chilly (I hope).

Have a great weekend - I think about you often and wonder what you're up to and wish you could drop by and see me. Don't forget to do your praying - we need it!

that's fantastic !! Your one step further than me, i don't have a dishwasher. :-( I've been wishing for one lately but no room for one that I can find. I can't wait to see pictures. Maybe you'll get lucky the were rabbit froze and he will leave the veggies alone lol

I guess I cant say it enough! I am jealous of your house and dishwasher and beautiful colors on your walls and yah all of it... I planted a few annuals and lost three to the frost. They were all just blackened shriveled mats of vegetation. So sad...:(

From what Terri tells me, you might be able to sic the were-skunk on the were-rabbit, although I don't know how good that will be for the veggies. Perhaps it will warm them up. lol!

Hey Melissa, have you heard of those new fancy were-skunk leashes? They are guaranteed to keep them on "your" property!

Whooo Hooo... Did you get the certificate??? Hope so!

And wonder if you can close up the spaces on the fences to keep your new were-shunk pet closer to home. One of your neighbors might be worried about smelly eggs. Her tomato crop probably isn't ready yet. :)

Wow! Running water! Dishwashers! I know that's exciting.

Terri says you have a were-skunk. So you have a were-rabbit and were-skunk? It's not catching is it?

Congratulations on your dishwasher! I'm still the dishwasher at my place.

I've been told it's more likely that you have a were-skunk than a were-rabbit, and I suspect that your neighbours would be appreciative if you kept it at home. It's best to acknowledge and take responsibility for your pets, don't you think?

I get it now, Melissa... Terri may be worried about smelly eggs but she must be thinking that if she blames HER were-skunk on you she won't have to take responsibility for them.

I smell (no pun intended) an intervention. Where is the nearest Were-skunks Anonymous???

where oh where has the were skunk gone?
oh where oh where can he be?
with his eyes so strong
and his tail so long
oh where oh where can he be?

betting he's at your place now ;)

so glad the house is so close to complete - can't wait to hear it's all done!
